Times fly. These couple of weeks have been really intense, every second of my time has been carefully planned. It was just until today that I had a couple of spare minutes to go through the images from our vacation in Thailand. So here's a quick sample for you from the calm life in Hua Hin. The laidback vacation mode feels really far away, but I kinda like having my hands full, keeping myself busy and creative... especially when the result is a lot of new creative projects coming up!Read More
Mum's countryside house, only our closest family, Danish turkey AND Swedish christmas smorgasbord, too much food, no snow, lots of gifts and laughter. Off-key singing and dancing around the tree. Late night parlour games and victories won by mum and my husband. I joined the winners stand once when I got the almond in the Risalamande. The perfect day.Read More
"We wish you a Merry Christmas,
We wish you a Merry Christmas,
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Good tidings we bring to you and your kin.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
Simple heart tags to hang on smaller presents or going-away gifts, to make them more personal. Made out of ceramic clay and stamped with the letters of our dear ones.
Yesterday was a calm day. I woke up early and ate all the leftovers from the party the day before. Luxurious leftovers I must add, a danish treat called Æbleskiver. My absolute favorite christmas dish. It's like a combination of waffles, donuts and pancakes... it can't really get any better then that, can it? One word. Yum.
The rest of the day was very creative and productive. I put together our holiday greeting cards that are now ready to be sent out and then I spent a couple of hours staring at the beautiful wrapping of the italian torte my mum brought us for the weekend. Can't bring myself to open it up. Looks so dreamy in that packaging.
Then we kissed underneath the mistletoe and had a lovely three course dinner at a restaurant that our friends treated us with as a wedding gift.
That's exactly how I like to spend my Sundays.Read More
Yesterday we had a lovely gathering at our small place. There were candy, icing and laughter everywhere. Can't help to think about how lucky I am to be surrounded with these wonderful people all the time. This december have been the best pre-christmas celebration ever. We have done so many great things together with family and friends and unforseen combinations and unexpected bonds have been connected in the greatest of ways. My heart is overflowing with happiness and gratitude for the life that've been given. Today's the third advent to be celebrated and I'm excited as always. Happy sunday to y'all!
