The simplest things are almost always the most fulfilling ones; A long walk through an untouched forest, birds composing joyful musicals from high above the tree-line while being watched over by the springtime sun. Bright rays of warmth are loosing up the tensions in my worn down winter-body. I feel alive again; the cold days are over. Well, At least for now.
I welcome the sun and the possibility of small everyday-hikes where I discover new cities or the nature's raw wilderness. But I'm always having a little prepared snack with me. These are my favorites; they're really unpretentious and as simple as simple can ever be. Chocolate covered nuts with sprinkles of ginger, rose hip powder or dried raspberries. Yum. Could not be better or easier to make. Try it for yourself. Just melt chocolate, add chopped nuts and make small dollops of the dough and put them on a plate or a baking sheet. Sprinkle with love and flavors of choice. Then put it somewhere in a beautiful space in your kitchen to set.
