The world has rediscovered the old-school breakfast porridge and now it has become kind of trendy. Who could ever imagine that? But I am one of those “trendy people” who makes porridge almost every morning. It’s fast, it can be fun and it can be made in loads of different versions that taste very different. Here are my four favorites that I frequently make for breakfast. I used to hate the consistency and taste of porridge… thank god for trends that help develop stuff into better versions of the old stuff!
Vary the classical oat-porridge and make it out of quinoa, chia, spelt or buckwheat instead. Eat it with almond milk instead of normal milk and always add honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, coconut flakes and berries to it - then it can't go wrong, it will be good and it will make you feel healthier and inspire you to stay that way for the rest of the day.
