The young version of me had a certain fascination for unattainable princesses. Like most young kids I'd reckon. It was not a very visible fascination but yet, it was still there. Today I feel a bit differently about that. The adult-version of me have a fascination for real people, human beings with goals and missions to accomplish, obstacles to overcome. Unattainable perfection is not something that I strive for. But the aspiring princess in me does sometimes need to be reminded of that. If something It's because we're willing to show our less perfect sides that really makes us deserving of a crown. Therefore I put crowns on all these little fellas that I painted for our family board games. I thought they deserved it, because of their beautiful little flaws.
